A children's story about a five year old kid and his grandmother's pet yellow kitty

"

Once apon a time their lived a little five year old boy with red hair and rosie cheeks named Sammy who lived with his dad in the town of Ravenburg. This little boy had a curious mind for he wanted to learn about everything and anything he could see. "Daddy wat makes de sky blue?" The little boy's daddy smiled and said "Well son when the sky is blue that means god is happy with the world." "Den how cume sometimes de sky is dark?" replied the little boy. Sammy's daddy just smiled and said "Well son that mean god is upset with the world." The little boy just smiled and ran and play outside in the bright blue sky.

A week later Sammy's daddy got a call from his job and he told Sammy that he has to go stay with his grandmother today because he has to pick up the night shift at his job. The little boy's  grandmother lives just down the road from him and his daddy. Sammy's grandmother was a kind, sweet lady who loved everything and everyone for she had a big heart. Sammy's grandmother didn't live alone though, she had a furry yellow cat with long wiskers and a fluffy tail. Everytime the little boy visited his grandmother he would always play with the little cat. He would chase it around his grandmother's house all the way up the stairs and all the way down, around the corner of the couch and over the chair. Sammy love the yellow cat with all his heart.

Sammy's daddy got sam into the back on his car and drove sam half a block to his grandmother's house where his grandmother was waiting out on the front yard to kiss and hug all over Sammy's little face. Sammy and his grandmother waved goodbye as his daddy drove away to his job leaveing sammy alone with his grandmother and the fluffy yellow cat. "Well Sammy...?" asked Sammy's grandmother, "What do you want to do first?" Sammy looked up at his grandmother's face and smiled "I wanna play wif de yellow kitty!" Sammy ran inside his grandmother's house looking for the yellow fluffy cat. He went into his grandmother's living room and saw the yellow fluffy cat sleeping on his grandmother's favorite rocking chair.

Sammy sncuk up behind the yellow cat and grabbed it's tail making the cat jump way up high in the air for the yellow kitty was frightened. The yellow cat began to run and run around grandmother's house with sammy close behind. Up the stairs goes the cat and down the stairs goes the cat. Sammy chased! and chased! and chased! untill suddenly his foot got caught on foot stool where his grandmother's favorite vase was placed. It toppled and woppled and with a bash and came down like a boxs of rocks. "Oh no..." thought Sammy as he sat on the floor trying to put the small broken pieces back together again. the fluffy yellow stared at sammy with it's big kitty eyes and walks up to the little boy and begins to purr at his feet. "This is all yor fault!" yelled the little boy as he picked up the yellow kitty and slung it across the room. "What's going on in their?!" shouted sammy's grandmother from the kitchen.

"Oh no!" the little boy was almost in tears as the thought about his grandmother yelling at him cause his grandmother never yelled at him before and he wasn't about to let it happen today. Sammy pushed all the pieces of the broken vase underneath his grandmother's bed as he heared her foot steps getting closer and closer and closer. "What are you doing in my romm sammy?" asked grandmother with a kindly voice, "Nofin grandma I was jus playin wif de little kitty." Sammy's grandmother looked at her bed and saw a small piece of glass under her bed. "Nothing... then what's this?" she pulled out a sharp piece of glass from the vase from under her bed. "Oh no this was my favorite vase..." Sighed Grandmother. With tears streaming from his eyes sammy ran and hugged buring his face into his grandmother's legs begging for forgivness, "I'm soory grandma! I'm so soory! I was playin wif de yellow kitty and my fut got caught on yor small table and I-I boke yor purrty thingy! Pease don't be mad at me!" Sammy's grandmother patted him on the head and laughed, "ha ha! my dear child I'm not mad at you. I'm just happy your safe you could have cut yourself playing with all that broken glass. "Sammy looked up wipping the tears away, "Yu meen yor not mad at me?" "Of course not..." replied Sammy's grandmother. Sammy was so happy he hugged his grandmother's legs even tighter then they were before, "I luv yu grandma..." sighed sammy, "hehe... I love you too sammy."

The moral of this story is that you can always buy more stuff but family is unreplaceable.

Check some spellings, there's a couple of bits that you could tell were intentional and phonetic, but I saw a couple that didn't seem like they should be.

Still really good, especially when you consider it's written for a child. Very interesting.
