Chapter Nine: New Guy, Nice!

Grace and Candace reached the pool by 2:08,
“This is the best pool in the entire world, I mean marble tiles, water that destroys bacteria right at the spot, 24/7 pool cleaners, and poolside snack bar with the best snacks and frozen treats in the country!” Grace explained.
“Cool” Candace replied. They got some lounge chairs and set their towels on them. Then Grace noticed that a guy with dark chocolate curly hair, rippling muscles, and blue and red swim trunks, was staring at Candace. But Candace was listening to music on her iPod.
“Candace” Grace tapped her.
“Huh?” Candace answered.
“Tall, dark-haired McHottie is checking you out” Grace pointed. When Candace turned her head to look, the guy wasn’t glancing anymore.

“He was” Grace was confused.
“Uh huh” Candace said sarcastically and adjusted her earphones back on her ear.
