One Person

An obvious scenario, but something, we all too often mindlessly pass by.

One person
that's all it takes
to turn this thing
around;
just a word,
just a thought,
just a positive gesture,
just a timely act,
just a different view,
just a smile.

a different side,
a different way,
a different view,
a different idea.

to change a mind,
to change a course,
to change an understanding.

our acknowledgement,
our awareness,
our perspective

to bring happiness,
to bring confidence,
to bring strength,
to bring healing.

we rush,
we pass by, don't even notice,
it's just us, just
a single focus,
our world,
no one, just us,
our own schedule,
no thought as to
anyone else.

a little thought,
a little of us, and
the whole world changes.

One Person!

That's true, when there is a dilemma between two people, someone has to give; one of the two has to understand the problem and help to rectify it...a positive gesture can fix everything; then the world is "just us".... nicely crafted...
