The ReturningA Poem by Richard MA bit of silliness.(sequel to Joan The Sock) Joan the sock turned up today, appears she'd never gone away, but for months and months she wasn't here, her whereabouts wasn't clear. In a sewing basket not so far away, waiting, waiting she patiently lay, waiting for that darning stitch, thought someone had done the 'pitch.' She's laying comfortably in my drawer with the sock friends she adores, once again she takes her place, and on my foot brings a smile on face. So Joan the sock lives again, but the question is until when? © 2022 Richard MReviews
