Source of LifeA Poem by Richard MI have a friend who is an artist and will enter his work in an upcoming art show. I was asked to write a piece to be mounted alongside. What an honour!
Little streams gathering,
silent paths meandering, converging, growing, winding its way through generations, a timeless source of life. Its beauty, stillness, peace, a patient fisherman, a speedboat shattering silence, children's happy laughter mingle with the chatter and screech of birds in flight. Infusing life into the land, towns built by the river, lifeblood of communities, a dependency, a need, downstream on and on in its purposeful intent. © 2021 Richard MFeatured Review
