I didn't see until it was too late.

I didn't see until it was too late.

A Poem by NovaeSpes

The bruises on my wrist,
The pain in my eye,
The longing to die.
When did this become love?
Being guilted into sex,
Feelings of never doing right.
When did this become love?
Never being the same,
"You've become so cold."
"What happened to you?"
I swear it was love.
I swear it was love..

Very nicely done poem. The poem set in such an order to cause one to investigate the why of; one enduring the passage taken. It encourages one that no one has to accept the measures put forth, Well unless they wish to. I enjoyed this.
