Why?

What is it about you that makes me so crazy? Why do I have to feel so strongly for you? Why can’t you be just like every other guy? I know what you do to me and yet, I can’t stay away. I will always love you. Given the chance I would be yours in a heartbeat. I miss our warm smiles, bone-crushing hugs, inside jokes and the joy we shared. Thoughts of you will always haunt my brain. I thought it was for real this time, I truly did. If only I could make my heart forget about you. If it can’t be real, please stop taunting me. My dreams consist of you and me finally together. Somehow, some way. Why do I wish for you? Why do I expect each time to get better? Why do I love you when all you do is break my heart?
