Back In My Hometown

Back In My Hometown

A Poem by Sparky15:)

Oh I’m country as they come.

 Back in my hometown

We got dirt roads, cowboy boots,

and our main mode of transportation.

Well it don’t say Vrooom.

Oh back in my hometown

Everybody knows everybody

And just what you’re doing

Ha back in my hometown.

Can’t take a step

Without waving, ah hey there!

Oh, I’m country as they come.

We fix fence on our days off

Ropin cattle for fun.

Yeah, it’s just what we do

Back in my hometown.

Whole town’s at the football game

Come Friday night.

Lettin’ out a yeehaw and a lessgo

Another attempt at a song. Just kind of had fun with this one. I do not believe it is done but then again, who knows.

I love this:) I am from a tiny Texas town and grew up out in the middle of nowhere. This is home to me:)
