Maybe

So maybe I still think about you all the time. Maybe I still love you and hold you in my heart. Maybe I still wish I could be in your arms. But, maybe, I don’t care; maybe you don’t even cross my mind. Maybe that’s what life is. Never knowing till it happens, always going with the flow. One day I know I’ll have all the answers for questions in the past. One day my heart will be healed, one day my smile will be true and because of someone like you. I’m gonna be ok, like I always am. I will break down, and I will stay strong. This is me; you can take me or leave me. Solid, strong, simply me. Staying true to my course, never really faltering because at the time, that was my perfect step. Stepping careful and watching my back. It’s a rollercoaster, but I’m not afraid, I know I’ll make it through.
