Ecstasy throughout

A never-ending smile.

Oh, what to do

Where to turn?

History on the verge

Deciding to repeat

Pondering the chances,

The hopes,

The dreams.

Smiles across the land.

Nothing but joy,

Love filling the hearts.

To join,

To unite,

To be.

History making choices.

Repeat?

Love the positivity emanating from this poem. The constant barrage of conflicting feelings gives a good picture of the human mind. The stream of consciousness style really brings home the themes of this poem, great job :D

Hmm, pondering the way history almost always seems to repeat itself with its hopes, dreams and the fears, with everything that goes hand in hand with it is always an interesting topic, including the typical question of individual choices, which go hand in hand with the bigger choices history makes.

I think this is quite well written with the very brief lines portraying the way the mind would go about trying to reply to the questions raised within the poem. It's good to see however that you seem to rely more on the happy notions of history rather than the sad ones, hope overruling everything.
