Spirit is guidance.

A little poem I came up with, btw not all poems have to rhyme :3

Spirit, some say that it is what keeps you alive, what keeps you sane, what makes you happy, fuels your emotions.
Spirit, is what makes you who you are. Your spirit defines you, shows who you are inside, because that is what matters.
You could be teased about how you look, or how popular you are, or even how your scores are in school.
But there are some things that you are better at than others, you could be a great artist but are poor at writing, great at math but stink at history, you are amazing at acting but not so great at cooking.
The things you are good at are part of your spirit while the rest are part of your mind.
You could hide your spirit, never to be seen, or you could show the world who you really are. No-one can change your spirit, your spirit is who you are inside, and no-one can take it away.

You are right, spirit is what makes us who we are. Our spirit defines us. Nobody can be good at everything. People always comment. We have to ignore them and do what we like.
