Part of a family

A young elephant had lost her family but now, she had a new one...

One sunny morning ,in a jungle, lived an elephant family with a mother named Megan, a father named Benny and a daughter named Ellie. Ellie was a sweet little girl. She always have feeling for her parents. But she is frightened of almost everything. And most of all, a loud storm. Luckily, whenever Ellie is frightened,she would hug her mum and dad very tight until she felt safe.

One stormy night, lightning came, thick rain poured and flashing light struck. Ellie felt very frightened. She hug her mum so tight, so Megan could barely breath. Suddenly, a tsunami came, it slowly swam towards the jungle. At first, Ellie though it was a gigantic blue elephant coming. But finally, she knew what it was. A tsunami. But she was too late to notice, it had already covered the whole jungle, even Megan, Benny and Ellie. Luckily, Ellie did not drown. But she saw a big house in front of her. And soon, she began to understand. She came from the jungle to town. And most important, she lost her mum and dad. Ellie cried so loudly, a man appeared in front of the big house. He led her in the big house. The big house was big enough for Ellie to fit in. Just then, a lady saw Ellie, she made a surprised face to the man. Ellie was frightened, but she hadn’t have her parents to hug. Then the man took the lady out. Ellie was alone in the big house. She hadn’t have anything to do, so she just sat there, waiting for the man and the lady to come back.

Soon, the man and the lady came back with a basket. Ellie leaned over to see what it was. And oh ,she was very happy to see...a baby. The next few months, Ellie still lived in the big house. She always loved it there. Sometimes, the man would take Ellie for a walk. He never cared if anyone stared at him walking with an elephant, neither did Ellie.Then, the man took Ellie out of the big house. He showed Ellie the berries in the garden. Ellie took a bite. Wow! Ellie loved it. Then, the man took the baby out. Suddenly, Ellie knew what message the man wanted to give out, Be brave forever, face your fear. Ellie had now a new and a loveable family!
