I Fell in LoveA Poem by Spammy_JI
fell in love As
I watched your hands move across the paper Taking
notes and transferring your thoughts to words I
found myself entranced by the simplest movements in your fingers By
the knot in your jawline as you focused so deeply I
fell in love As
I watched you smile When
I told you of the emotions inside my heart I
found myself entranced by the curl of your lips By
the warmth of your arms as they encircled me I
fell in love As
I watched your eyes grow dark When
you shared your troubles and demands of the world I
found myself entranced by the furrow in your brow By
the tears that threatened to spill over your cheeks I
fell in love As
I heard your heart wrenching sobs Cracking
and sharp in their intensity I
found myself entranced by the anguish in your face By
the way your body curled into that of a child I
fell in love As
I heard your voice sing out a song Strong
and clean and true in its’ tune I
found myself entranced by the way your chest moved By
your lips as they formed the sweetest of words I
fell in love As
I heard you laugh at me over days and weeks Finding
my humor worthy of your joy I
found myself entranced by the length of your eyelashes By
the way your nose scrunched as your laughter tumbled over me I
fell in love As
I felt your fingers trace my lips Brushing
against them with all the force of a butterfly’s wing I
found myself entranced by your rough fingertips By
the look of lust and desire in your eyes I
fell in love As
I felt your breath against my ear Whispering
your passions and love as I trembled I
found myself entranced by the feel of your hair in my hands By
the heat of your skin against mine I
fell in love As
I felt you open your soul Allowing
me into the precious sanctuary of your heart I
found myself entranced by the beautiful chaos By
the perfection I found in you I
