My first thoughts on this were that these thoughts are like humanities shadow, but they do serve an important purpose, because without melancholy and sorry, how would we know happiness and joy?
Maybe to know the good, we must also have the shadows of bad, no matter what or who we are, we need reminders in our life of the dangers and pain out there, no matter how careful we are.
Your last line sums it up perfectly! 😊

Your words reminds me like, " when a child, unconsciously, frequently tries to touch the flame of the candle, not knowing the damage like, they will gonna burn their fingers, that's the reason parents are denying to do so. But lately they didn't stop to. Knowing for the once he/she knows the pain of burning , automatically he/ she will not put their finger in candle again." The same way, sorrow is important to let us understand the value of happiness as you said.
WE humans are not always enlightened, joyous, upbeat... Many of us dance in sorrow...longing for something to make us human ,real....our hopes and dreams have not been fulfilled....struggles and a rain of tears falls for what seems like forever...it lingers too long..."the sad music of humanity"....
A beautiful write!
Warmly, B
How hard it is to live day by day without kindness and the smiling music it offers to those willing to listen.
Although your words are sad, they fluctuate like the rise and fall of a conductor's baton: you truly do know how to make the best of every note you create - such gentle , almost sleepy words, as if trying to make believe. Perhaps?
'.Amidst the tapestry of time's quiet hum,
Echoes the melancholic melody of humanity's song,
A symphony woven with threads of longing,
Notes of sorrow dance in the shadows. '
How sadly true, yet between the lines there seems to be postivie touches Thank you for sharing.. ..
Gentle, although melancholic. There is always an opposite. Your stanzas here are so very poetic in their description. Really pleasant reading, and the emotion in your chosen words was felt. Thank you for posting Soyam.

I love all of the musical references in this poem and the overall feel of it. There are many sad and melancholy melodies in people's live but as well, beautiful and exciting melodies if they look past the darkness. Beautifully done my friend.

My pleasure you liked it. Thank you very much for giving your valuable time and reviewing it.
I think humanity is in such sadness at this juncture...that the music could only be composed by Beethoven.
He was the king of sad symphonies.
Chords of heartache, haunted dreams, melancholy melody.
Beautiful poem.
