Your virtuous words speak unto the purest dreams of our souls.
May we never lose the desire to realize the wondrous gift of pure love, where expectations of our eyes, minds, and conditionings are shed, so that we able to discern only the miracle of perfection that stands before us … the twin to every hope and treasure we'll ever want or need, blinding us to the allure of any other.
I cannot help but wonder if everyone doesn't yearn for the innocent, unlimited, unsullied ability to completely love and adore they once possessed as children … I know I sometimes miss it so much my every fiber aches.
Hah! Listen to me pontificate when my review is supposed to be about you and your poem … yet, I guess that's what splendidly wrought, deeply meaningful poetry does.
I love your title, artwork, rhythm, flow, and skilled perfection of natural-feeling rhymes. Your vivid imagery and metaphorical impact strikes in perfect accord with the essence of your wonderfully rendered message … sorry, but no critique is to be had from me on this one.
It's a shame what living and learning steals from us, but it cannot take away our desire and primal instinct to love without expectations and conditions.
Beautiful poeming, Poetess … love it! ⁓ Richard🖌

I agree dear Soyam.
"So let us embrace this gift divine,
In love's embrace, our souls align.
For in the tapestry of life's connection,
Love remains our eternal affection."
I adored the above lines and love is life, life is love. Thank you for sharing the outstanding poetry.

One can't go wrong with love as a theme for a poem. But you did more than was expected.
I rally enjoyed this read.
"A roller coaster ride we know so well."
tyfs
This well rhymed piece highlights the difference between romantic love and spiritual love. The first two verses illustrate the roller coaster ride that romantic love can be, the result of making an idol out of another human being. The last two verses, while not being overtly religious, describe something more, a transcendent bond that unites people. The irony is that sometimes we have to ride the roller coaster in order to become open to its superior.

Thanks for understanding the Devine love and thanks for your kind words and visit.
stunning words of tender love, embracing all that love is; unconditional, lasting, caring,, surprising....but love can be scary as well because it expects so much of us... all of our efforts pour into this one person for good or for bad; and it's forever, "transcends over time"...the rhyming is excellent!
Best, B

Love never hurts. Love never fails. But prophecy will fail, tongues will be silenced and knowledge will vanish before love. It is the way of the eternal to make jest of the temporary and transient. Only a fool will think they know love but a wise person will understand when they are known by love.

Loving someone is not getting someone, it's something completely losing yourself in someone your beloved. You are true, love definitely can't hurt! Love is eternal, never ending... like soul.

It's nice to read someone's work who understands that love isn't a trade or a this for that. Love is very often hard work, dedication, responsibility and sacrifice. Love is always sacrifice and sacrifice is the greatest measure of love. If there's no sacrifice, there's no love. You've probably heard it said that if someone is willing to lay down their life for another's sake, that is the greatest love. But anytime and every time you put aside your own life; to help a stranger or a friend in need you are not doing your own will. If it were your will you would do what pleases you rather than that which benefits someone else. There are many ways of "laying down your life" but primarily at least one great sacrifice is time. Time is life. Ben Franklin said, "Time is money." But Ben was dead wrong. Not all the money in the world can buy you more time and how you spend your time is how you spend your life. It's the greatest sacrifice we can give for each other, our time. We don't see it as such, perhaps. But I often hear talk about "killing time". That's the same as wasting life. Any accomplishments we make in this life will fade. But if we know love and love knows us then our efforts at eternity are not in vain because love is eternal. I know and accept that as a personal truth. I might add that love is its own reward. It's the one thing that makes life worth living. It's the one thing that creates life and art and beauty. Love can fulfill us beyond all our expectations but sacrifice will be required. It's not that we can ever "earn" love. But we can "give" it and in the giving we understand more than the taking ever taught. Yes. The soul. We are spirit. Love is Spirit. We are all like little bottles containing precious perfume being poured out upon this earth like incense to heaven. May our fragrance be sweet and pleasing as our nature. Bless.

"Love, the essence of the soul's journey,
An eternal flame that burns with divine yearning.
It intertwines spirits in a cosmic dance,
A connection beyond mere circumstance.
Love's energy resonates deep within,
Nurturing the soul, where true beauty begins. "
Love is just like a warm touch in winter, a cool breeze in summer. Relaxing raindrops of monsoon, welcoming blossom of spring.
Definitely love needs sacrifice, because the person whom you love, your happiness will lie in theirs. No matter whether it's within you or with someone else. A love without sacrifice is incomplete. Sacrifice is just a test to get the Beautiful reward of love. People who really knows the value and worth of love, they will even after losing it.
