She's the queen of your heart. She can even break your heart but no way the promises.

Boy meets girl, girl ticks the boxes

Sounds like a rap, especially the third line "Honest (honest), I'll tell you how she's honest", definitely has a rhythm in this line! Super cool! And I believe the message of this poem is to always keep one eye opened when it comes to love, love is a drug where one can become addicted. But like all addictions, too much can have negative effects on the person. Be careful of becoming addicted, we might just pay the price. Thank you so much for sharing, I enjoyed reading!

Love is a drug, easy to become addicted. Your lines here brought Bryan Ferry’s Love Is the Drug into my mind. I was a huge fan of his when much younger. Addictions are trouble. Love can be too if not handled with care. Good to read another of your poems Soyam. Enjoyed my visit.

not a bad drug to be addicted to although it can sometimes hurt. there are worse things in life. after all, every queen needs a kingdom to rule ... :)

If it's drug then definitely it's gonna hurt one day. But if it's the actual essence of love - " the holy grail" , then it's never.

Coz the only thing that makes us feel hurt is nothing more then our exceptions.
