Soulless

Soulless

A Poem by Sourav

Thousands of miles I’ve crossed, many days are already lost

In a passion of having more, Countless things I’ve bought

In the game of lost and found,

  never looked around

Never searched what is true;

I’ve gained a lot and lost even more, restless ecstasy beyond control

A Mindless chase of mirage dreams, half spirited poor distressed soul

In the act of this meaningless play,

  did I ever pray?

Or my dried words never reached to you.

In the act of this meaningless play,
did I ever pray?
Or my dried words never reached to you.

I liked these lines alot,
Pondering thought here, and so nicely written.
