No Death to Die

No Death to Die

A Poem by Sourav

With you in my mind I traversed the stream
And despair became hope, fear turned into courage
I woke up from my frozen dream
Unbidden you came but only to encourage...
There is no farewell, there is no grief,
Nor do I witness the fall of leaf
As I gratefully look at you- yet in disbelief;
What you have in your secrecy- forbidden to reveal
And what I don’t have that shamelessly makes me cry
But with your touch of finesse, my wounds you may easily heal
Today I perceive your true colours, now there’s no death to die.

Wonderful use of words and thoughts.
"But with your touch of finesse, my wounds you may easily heal
Today I perceive your true colours, now there’s no death to die."
I liked the above lines. Some people can make us feel safe and we shall never forget. Thank you Sourav for sharing the amazing poetry.

..Reincarnation?
Honestly, no other thought comes to head. I do imagine this is what you must feel like towards your lover: a rebirth inside yourself.

Excellent!
A deeply felt tribute to a love who has saved you from the darkness in yourself. You painted just enough of the picture, in the right corners.
