A poem for all those afflicted by lost love and long distance relationships.

You make me complete

I wish you weren’t so far away,

I miss you every night and day;

 

I hope you know that this is true,

With every breath I think of you;

 

You were and always will be mine,

Without you there is no sunshine;

 

For in your eyes there was a spark,

And without you my life is dark;

 

I feel as though I have no sight,

Come be my light come be my light;

 

For in that light I see whats true,

I start to see your point of view;

 

It lets me see and understand,

How things got really out of hand;

 

So lets give life another chance,

Lets reignite the old romance;

 

Lets mend all the broken fences,

Lets overcome the differences;

 

Oh this was wrong oh that was wrong,

Lets stop singing this same old song;

 

So come my love lets get along,

And make our love ever so strong;

 

This Life is but, blink of an eye,

So lets not let life pass us by;

 

So come walk with me side by side,

Lets match each other stride by stride;

 

Come lets be firm and resolute,

Lets be each others parachute;

 

I wish that you and I were close,

You are the reason I compose;

this poem that’s straight from my heart,

The heart that loves you from the start;

The heart that is in disarray,

The heart that keeps looking your way;

The heart that shouts with every beat;

Oh darling you make me complete.
