When I met Time

When I met Time

A Poem by Soumya Deouskar
"

Some things are better enjoyed when left alone.

"

I met time yesterday,
When the twilight,
Began to break.
He sat there,
On the old oak bench
Beside the sky blue lake.

Nearer the bench,
The more nosier it grew.
Thousands of meṅ were searching,
For the same time.

But then that empty bench,
Whispered some melodious chime,
We all tried to catch him,
But in the end,
We all lost time.

Truly written Soumya! So true, live in the moment rather than trying to catch it, it makes a huge difference. Beautifully designed writing with well sketched words!
Nice to meet time through your writing!
Keep writing!
