 Chapter 3

 

 

The Burning Secret

 

 

 

I couldn’t believe what I was hearing down stairs. I couldn’t help but ease drop on my father and brother yelling. I started to think. There keeping a secret from me and I'm going to find out what it is if it’s the last thing I do. I opened the door and started to go down the winding stair case. I got to the bottom and walked to the dinning room door. I heard my father talking but there was a new voice I never heard before so I placed my ear to through door and found out it might not have been such a good idea to find out what they were talking about because it could change everything.

            “Johno you can’t have her here if she finds out what we are she could get hurt have you thought of that” the mysterious guy said

            “Yes, Greg I have thought about it it’s been running through my mind since she got here” my father said as he sighed.

            Johno heared a sound at the door so he walked towards it and opened it. Viper fell into the door way and onto the floor.

            “Viper may I ask why are you snooping around my door.” Johno said

                        “I wasn’t snooping” I said

“Then what do you call your ear pressed to my door hearing my conversation.” Johno said.

            I sighed knowing I was caught.

 

“What are you hiding from me? I want to know your secret whatever it is. “I said

            Johno walked up to Greg and put his hand on his shoulder.

“Viper, this is Greg he is my close friend” johno said.

            “Hi viper how are you.” Greg said

Johno and Greg looked at each other.

            “Tell me what is going on or I will leave right now” I said

My father went to fire place and sat down in a chair. I watched as my father put his hands on his face like I disappointed him from me wanting to know what his secret was. Is that bad that he cant tell his own daughter what his secret is.

      “Fine viper do you really want to know. We are Vampires but as you probably know us as mystical creatures from hell.” My Johno said.

I gulped and stared from Greg to my father thinking it was a joke but I didn’t see any of them laughing. I didn’t know what should say or what I should do. I felt like my feet where planted to the floor and I couldn’t move. I tried to move but I couldn’t. The room was silent till my brother and a group of people behind him came barging in the room that practically ran me over. Thank god that gave me time to run out the door and to my car.

      I started my car as fast as I could and got the hell out of there and I don’t know where I'm going but at least I was out of there.

 

 

“Ohh s**t, ohh Greg what are we going to do.”Johno said

            “You’re the genius who told her and she ran, like I said she was going to do but did you listen to me Noo. No one listens to me anymore.” Greg said.

Justin looked and them curious

“Dad, what did you tell viper” Justin said

            “Your father the genius he claims to me told your sister that we are Vampires” Greg said.

“Dad, tell me you didn’t tell her” Justin pleaded.

            “Justin I would love to say I didn’t but I would be lying to you”johno said.

“johno what were you thinking she could destroy us all of us if she told the wrong people” Jason she wont say anything” Alex said.

Yeah, fat chance in that lil sis” Jason said. “Boy is randy going to be pissed when he finds out.”

“Guys knock it off randy wont find out all have to do is find viper” johno said

            “Yeah dad and how do you expect us to find her. We don’t even know where she would go because we just met her did you forget about that one dad.” Justin said.

“I don’t know okay I just thought she deserved to know what we are okay she’s family. I didn’t know she was going to react like that.” johno said

            “Guys were wasting time here, we need to find viper so Justin, you and Jordan take the park, and Alex and Jason take the town. Me and johno will take the streets and the beach. Let’s go kids we don’t have time to kill.” Greg said.

                        Everyone ran from the room following orders. Johno put on his coat and graved his keys and headed out the door with Greg hoping he would find viper in time before something bad happened.

 

 

 

 

 

Chapter 4

 

Vicious creatures

           

 

 

           

 

            The park is the best place to hide. It’s nice and quiet and no one will bother me. I try to think why I’m sitting here on an old rusty bench when I could be with my father. I’m afraid when he says is true would he hurt me. Maybe that’s why my mom didn’t want me near him that has to be the reason. I try not to cry but I feel like I’m breaking into pieces. I heard a noise in the bushes. I slowly stood up and looked into the trees all I seen was big yellow eyes.

            I ran as fast as I could but I didn’t make it that far when I got knocked down I felt like I got hit with a bolder. It knocked the wind out of me. I tried to scream but I couldn’t move. All of a sudden I was being lifted up from the ground I turned my head to see what had me all I could do was screaming.

            I thought Werewolf’s didn’t exist but all that’s over now. I had it all I could fight it but I lost my strength and passed out.

 

 

 

 

 

Justin had all he could do to keep him self calm as he got to the park. He didn’t feel right. His smell was off and the birds and squrels were acting funny as if they where scared of something but what could that be.

            Justin turned his head to see if Jordan found anything. He noticed there was a black shadow near the trees.

            “Jordan stay right there till I tell you to move.” Justin said.

Justin slowly moved to the trees till the dark shadow came clear. It was Vipers car he found with the drivers door wide open.

            “Jordan comes quickly its viper’s car” Justin said.

Jordan ran through the trees till he got to Justin’s side.

            “She didn’t even make it to her car, what do you think got to her.” Jordan said

            Justin walked closer to the car to see if he could find anything he could use to see who took Viper.

            BINGO

“Jordan we have a big problem” Justin said as he turned around t0 show Jordan what he was holding.

            “The werewolf’s took my sister; s**t how the hell we are going to get her back.” Justin said

            The silence fell as Justin’s cell phone rang.

“Dad, we have a problem I know who took Viper.” A pause “The werewolf’s dad they got to her she dint even makes it to her car. Dad I’m going after them I got to find her.” Justin said “don’t worry dad ill find her and ill bring her home to you.”

            Jordan looked uneasey abnout justins plan but he went along with it. They headed up the mouatain following the horrible scent to a place where Viper might be.

 

 

 

 

 

            I tried to open my eyes, but I couldn’t. I had a sharp pain in my arms. I tried lifting up my hands but they were bound to something and I couldn’t tell what it was.

            I forced my eyes open.

I was stuck in a small room bounded to what seemed like a medical table. I had no clothes on but a skimpy nighty. I heard voices so I closed my eyes acting like I was still passed out. I heard a key in the door and I tried not to scream.

 

            “damion come one we can use her. She looks like she could posess lots of powers and be strong” the first guy said.

            “no jayjay she human end of story put her back where you found her” damnion said.

            “what if we bite her and make her one of us.” Jayjay said.

            I tried not to move but I had a cramp in my leg and it hurt so bad. I had no chice but to move.

“ohh look shes up” jay jay said.

 

“Pl..Pl..Please domt hurt me” I said

            “ohh sweetness we don’t tend to hurt you we want you to be…how do I say this an experiment a new breed.” Jay jay said.

“okay fine jay jay but I bite her first” damion said.

            Damion slowly walked towards me. I tried to fight against the restraints but I wasn’t strong enough. Damion sat at the endge of the table near my ribs. He leaned over me so that I could see his face clearly.

            “don’t worry, it will only hurt for a second, by the way, im a vampire. You will turn into something people will fear for years to come. Something more powerful than you can imagine.” Damion said

            He rubed his lips against my neck then I felt something sharp pierce my my neck. I felt a shooting pai go down my neck and all over my body.I couldn’t feel anything anymore did he paralyze me why do I feel so weak.

            Damion slowly got up and looked at me then he bite his wrist and blood poured out of it.

            “drink” was all he said. I tried not to but it tasted so good I couldn’t stop.

“damion its my turn now” jay jay said as he made damion move so he could sit down.

            Jay jay didn’t just drink my blood at first he played with my hair and said “your going to make a beautiful goddess” then he leaned over and placed his lips on my neck. I felt a sharp pain like last time but this one was more intence more painful. I felt like he was ripping my nbeck apart. He felt eager more like he was deprived of blood he just couldn’t stop.

            I tried to push him away but I was to weak. I closed my eyes and felt nothing.

 

 

 

 

Cell phone rining.

            “dad we found a house therea about two werewolfs outside and we need to know if you want us to move in to see is Vipers in there” Justin said.

Justin nodded his head. And hung up.

            “my dad said to go in and be careful.” Justin said.

            i slowly moved across the path at thew back of the house. Jordabn behind me and I know I have back up but will we make it out alive.

            I heard a scream I knew it had to be Viper. So I just ran as fast as I could jumping through the window catching the two werwolfs by surprise nocking them down ands making sure they stayed that way. But leaving one alive to question him.

            “where is my sister.” I said.

“uh uh shes in the back room.” He said then I snapped is neck with one twist.

            I walked slowly through the halls with a sword I poulled out of the waist band of my pants with this sword I fel invinsible. A door at the end of the hall was closed so I walked towards it and slowly graved the knob and wung open the door and sen my sister on the table strabed down with blood all over.

            Viper…Viper” I whispered.

Vipers arm was twitching she had to be alive. I waljked towards her putting my sword back in the back of my pants. I steped closer and notioced she was breathing. THANK GOD. But it was faint.

            I untied the restraints and put my right hand under her back and my left under her knees. I lifted her up and noticed she was bleeding more than I thought she was. The only thought was I got to get her home quick.

            I walked out of the room and fast as I could and down the hall and out the door leading outside where I fgound Jordan killing a werewolf.

            “Jordan lets go, I need to get her home fast before we lose her.” I said to Jordan.

            We ran down the mountain. I had torun faster that usuall so I could help my sister. We got to the park and I pout my sister in the back seat of her car. I knew the car would be faster thren us running.

            “lets go Jordan in the car”I said.

We got in and drove to the house to save my sisters life.
