Death That Haunts the Living

Death That Haunts the Living

A Poem by SoullessPrincess
"

A vampire that Haunts the Living

"

At the end of my bed, He stands,
Darker then the shadows
Moonlight Shinning over his scared face
Hiding his perfection like a mask
For all eternity has passed
Our eyes locked in a stare
Deep within my chest
My heart beats rapidly
His eyes stare coldly into mine
Sparkling like set diamonds
He has me totally under his control
That I can’t ever break from
A hunger for blood burns within
His Hard masculine body covered my thin material
His skin as white as Snow
My mind, a torrent, a sea of emotions
I Swallow my fear, yet I'm strangely calm
He stalks towards me
His Fierce stance comes into view
But who is this mysterious stranger
His hand graves my neck
 And Silences my words
"Hush, luv it will only hurt a bit"
The words flow from his mouth
In whispered tones
His touch feels cold as stone
As his arms wrap around me
Like steel bars

he stares into my eyes again
To my mind and soul
His mouth opens to show fangs deep within
My pulse racing ever faster
My blood rushes round my veins
Like thunder bursting inside me
I would never look back beyond this night
His tongue runs over my cheek
And down my neck
When I feel a sudden
Bolt of piercing pain
My strength gradual weakening as he sucks from my neck
I fall back and hit the bed
Barely able to move
I stare at him horrified and see blood
Drip from his mouth
His eyes glow with his intense gaze
Black like they were eating my soul
In the black satin night sky
He licks the blood lusciously
His teeth long as canines
From a wolves mouth
it suddenly becomes apparent
That this angelic vision, that stood before me
Was an animal of the night
Fear courses through my body
For my very own mortality
Death seems only
A matter of heartbeats away
This creature before me
Still so beautiful in his human form
Yet now I see a demon face
he looks at me with a evil smile
He speaks, but I’m not sure if Want to hear the words
"You are now a vampire like myself
A demon creature of this eternal night
You shall live forever"
His first intention was to kill me
And leave my blood-drained corpse behind
But his love for me prevailed.

When I read this, I was absolutely hooked. You have many poems April, but this one by far is the best one yet. Keep it up!

Question:
Did you read the books Twilight, New Moon, and Eclipse, by Stephanie Meyer.
If you haven't and you like vampire stories, those are some of my absolute favorites.

I really enjoyed this, all of the pieces are seen very clearly as i was reading and i liked every step of the way. Very erotic in a way and i wanted to read more and more with it.

Great job!
Love,
K :)
