“My road seems never-ending,
days seem long lasting,
my longing for opportunity is passing,
happiness is being stripped from me,
as people pass me,
time is running out,
but yet I seem distracted,
by pointless thoughts which my mind enchants me,
75 summers 75 winters,
if I am lucky that’s what life will grant me,
why do I hurt so much?
to find true happiness,
and shed off this mask that my person
seems to be casting?
shadows on busy streets is a
true depiction of human lasting,
one walks over another,
without recognition of even realizing
the pain that’s being passed on see,”
