Energetic LazinessA Poem by Dean SmithAgain recently re-discovered, written some years ago.ENERGETIC LAZINESS
An over-crowded silence,
Fills me with dark fear,
Kaleidoscopic memories,
How did I get here?
Blood filled bullets searching,
Amongst my tears - hollow,
Is time still mine?
Can this soul shine?
Such answers I don't know.
An energetic laziness,
A life to understand,
An intrusion called confusion,
Held inside my plans,
Slowly it can heal me,
Someday will turn to night,
Goodbye my sun,
Walk find your run,
A new dawn sits in sight.
