Dying Crys

Dying Crys

A Poem by Dante Balintyne

Grandma has died and so has my soul

Wounded to the core I shall never again be whole

Painfilled and surrounded by darkness

Its so hard to actually believe this

Its like all my thoughts are redirected

In a shockwave damned to be disconnected

So much love she will never see

So much emotion that wont let me be free

Her body lays lifeless before my eyes

She will never hear my dying crys

I'm so sorry.. this one I can definitely relate to.. I was very close to my grandparents on both sides.. I adored them and looked up to them... Your emotion is so raw in your statements.. thank you for reminding me of how important my grandparents were to me through your writing!!!
