Always A Place

Always A Place

A Poem by Dante Balintyne

From the time we are young and can first remember
To the time we first learn Christmas is always in December
We are always looking for a place to feel we belong
Though we never know if it will be right away or even for how long
I write this for you straight from my heart
To tell you I have wanted a little sister from the start
We may not be blood but I want you to always know
No difference exists to me and brotherly love I will always show
I want you to always know you have someone to talk to
No matter how bad you think things are I will be here to help you through
So just to show I am proud to call you my little sister and that nobody will ever erase
If you need someone to listen know you will always have a place
