A Poem by DarkPoet

If the thoughts in your head were set free,
Passionate screams, angry, wild and free.
Yet safety dwells only in silence, a soothing snooze
Quiet whispers calming when emotions bruise.

For you, life's path, no bed of Roses fair,
Yet you lavish kindness, a generous share.
In return, some wield the hand of Satan's spite,
Others, vessels for anger and frustration's bite.

In solitude, you find solace, shutting the door,
Faceless judgments label you cold, bitter, and more.
Yet you embrace the truth, no one truly cares,
A comforting warmth in the solitude it wears.

Amidst status updates and festive cheer,
You're okay, no need for pity near.
Reflecting on past wounds and strife,
Survived, pleading with God for strength in this life.

A tear for the tumultuous year's fade,
Another for fears unleashed, a daunting cascade.
Discovering an unknown version within,
Marveling at growth, how far you've been.
