Life, as I have come to know
Constantly rotates from high to low
It has its good and bad sides
It is from baby steps to giant strides

I am learning to embrace the pain and fun
For there's a reason why roses have thorns
It's pointless to remain stuck in the rut
That comes with focusing on only the hurt

I'll take my time to dance in the rain
Bask in the rays of the sun
Enjoy each season's reign
And move on when it is done
