Child of The Sea

Here I stand at the shore
Staring closely at the sea
Imagining what lies beyond what my eyes can see
I cannot get enough,I'm always wanting more

As the wind whispers in my ear
For a while I lose all my fears
The waves wave to and fro,at me beckoning
I'm always tempted to heed the calling

But the time isn't right for us to fully meet
So I allow the waters run through my feet
My whole being becomes calm
The feeling is soothing like a balm

The warmth of the sea's embrace makes me feel less alone
I find at the sea,the comfort of a home
I live for this beautiful encounters
Reminiscing on the memories long after
