Untitled 25

A Poem by DarkPoet

No stranger am I to needles piercing for blood
Whose sight makes me feel so odd
Neither am I averse to whip lashes on my skin
Still I hate to utter even the faintest scream

I'm conversant with struggling in submerging waters
Despite how much I hate to swim
As I keep struggling in the waters
The lights go dim

How long is too long to keep being strong
Striving to climb up the mountain
Searching for the milk and honey fountain
Hoping for a righting of every wrong

The flesh is weak the spirit is willing
Searching for a sign of promise like the rainbow
Hoping in the end there will be a winning
A ray of sunlight,a reason not to let go.
