Sometimes i want to talk
My voice drowns in the midst of others Sometimes i want to smile My face wears a long frown Sometimes i want to trust Trust betrays me Sometimes i court kindness Kindness is harsh to me Sometimes in searching for a friend I become my own enemy Sometimes in trying to find I get lost seeking Sometimes in trying to move forward I go backwards Sometimes i want to live Daily life kills me © 2019 DarkPoet |
