Throw Back Thursday

Throw Back Thursday

A Poem by DarkPoet

19 years and counting its still hard
To move on from the fact that you've moved on
I wish i could go back to the part
Where i still had you to lean on
And could tell you any and everything
'Cos you will never judge and abandon me
Even when the storms of life are blowing
I wish i could talk to you one last time
To see you again i would give my last dime
You will never be ashamed of me around
Or push my back on the ground
I wish I could tell you of my victories and failures
And together we could plot a pathway to my future
I wish you are with me during my long stay at the clinic
Afterwards we can have a nice picnic
Where i could tell you of the days when the nights are long
And sob on your laps because i don't feel so strong
I wish you were alive and with me today
and not a deep insatiable longing on a throwback Thursday
