Ink Eyes

Ink Eyes

A Poem by Marlena
"

what I see.

"

Ink Eyes

They’re staring.

Through thick

Clouded light

Is it Light?

Can I touch?

Or maybe something

More foul, something

I wouldn’t want to

Be around so much?

Either way, they just

Go on, and on, staring

Like they do, into me

The metallic reflection that defines

Just who I think I should

Be today, unlike any other day

The faded glass replica I see

Staring back so blindly at me, I

I don’t quite know what to say

Except, those ink eyes, get darker and

Darker

Everyday.

Reviews are nice. I don't want any crit on this one, I mean, you can give it if you want, that's fine, but I may not take it just because I really like this one.

Let me know what you think. Reviews are, as always, returned.

We won't say a word about the mechanics. Can't blame you for not wanting to change anything...and why would you? From what I can see, it's flawless. I like it, anway, but I can only speak for myself.
