Ink EyesA Poem by Marlenawhat I see.Ink Eyes They’re staring. Through thick Clouded light Is it Light? Can I touch? Or maybe something More foul, something I wouldn’t want to Be around so much? Either way, they just Go on, and on, staring Like they do, into me The metallic reflection that defines Just who I think I should Be today, unlike any other day The faded glass replica I see Staring back so blindly at me, I I don’t quite know what to say Except, those ink eyes, get darker and Darker Everyday. © 2010 MarlenaAuthor's Note
