Missing

Missing

A Poem by Marlena

It was a hot hot day when I saw you last

and I felt the sweat on the small of my back

You told me I was slow, I needed to be fast

when we were running, but I guess we can stop now.

Because I lost sight of you so long ago

and I don't understand where you went

Your footprints are there but your path doesn't show

you left me, I scream, so where should I go?

I don't know about you, but I came out screaming in the end

I wanted to find you but that's so hard to do

I don't wanna give up, I don't wanna give up

It' just that I'm falling and I can't pretend

I'm not all right, so help me out

You'll come through, wherever you are, I have not doubt.

...hmmm...whatever. I don't know, I half don't like it. I was going to be about one thing and ended up being like...not at all what I wanted to get out >.< So...yeah.
