His Love

His Love

A Story by Marlena

She presses her back against his chest, her eyes shutting as he sighs in time with her. Tangled in him, she relaxes. Nothing can hurt her. His breath is a warm wind against her neck, his lips plush velvet against her ear. She feels the slow rise and fall of his chest, waves against the ocean. His heart is strong and slow, a steady rhythm- a lullaby to travel from his chest to her back, to travel up her spine and vertebra, around her ribcage and encasing her heart. In perfect reality, as the words of his heart speak its secrets to her and wrap her in sleep, she dreams with his face in her mind and name on her tongue.

Nice setting, peaceful romance, something nonexistent - I wish this could be.

So do you, as I see.

Thank you!
