You remind me of light
and pretty things
fragile things
that look strong
you're like glass and wind
after a while words and thoughts
all accumulate and
it gets so hard to see inside
and you're unseen
but I feel you there
a gentle pressure
that in a moment
can knock me off my feet.
You remind me of darkness
and sad things
breaking and healing things
that not only look strong
but are.
you're like steel and cold nightmares
smooth and graceful
and dangerous
A moment alone with you
can be beautiful and wordless
and in another second turn
so violently scary,
a run from things strange.
You remind me of....
Glass and wind
and steel and cold nightmares
and the things that I love the most.
