My Demons, My Demons

My Demons, My Demons

A Poem by Marlena

My Demons, My Demons

you pester me still

In dreams, in daylight

I don't have the will

to stand a fight

so brutally long

but,

My Demons, My Demons

I've only just realized, you were me all along.

This is short, but so powerful! So much said, that I feel is nothing but honest truth of who we all are. Brilliant! You have penned a Masterpiece of Outstanding quality for the reader to enjoy, while leaving with much to consider and ponder! Excellent!

I like this, awesome flow to it,
I guess we all have our demons inside!
It's letting them go is the hard part!
Well stated!
