If You Fell

If You Fell

A Poem by Marlena
"

I won't catch you.

"

If you fell

I wouldn't catch you

and if you cried I'd turn the other way

If you fell,

I wouldn't help you

and if you cried I'd walk away.

If you scream

I won't listen

and if you beg I'll tell you to pray.

If you asked for friendship

I'd say you had it

But you threw it away.

The scorn we feel when betrayed... Outstanding vent. It is a great source of therapy, writing. And, again your Talent shows in this piece. Not only through the words, but through your artistic expression, as well. I like what you've done with the "fell". Excellent!
