What does music do for you?

I can't speak the words I feel

Say those words I've always dreamed

Spoken, saying, Screamed

Singing for you

I'll sing for you.

 

"Can you help me? I'm bent, I'm so scared that I'll never

Get put back together."

 

I'll sing what I want to say

Listen to me now, hear me today.

 

"Hear me, I'm crying out, I'm ready now. Turn my world upside down, find me. I'm lost inside the crowd, it's getting loud, I need you to see I'm screaming for you to hear me." 

 

Sweet words, sometimes, like

 

"Lying in my bed I hear the clock tick and think of you. Caught up in circles confusion is nothing new." 

 

Or anger could overtake me

and I'll scream for the world to hear,

Hate, pain, or even fear-

 

"Right now, can't find a way to get across the hate when I see you. I feel it scratch inside I wanna slash and beat you. Right now, I want to f**k the things inside that excite you. Right now I can't control myself I f*****g hate you."

 

It's my heart I'll open up or tear apart. Listen, Loves, because tonight can be the end or it can finally start again. Singing with a voice broken and whole, I'll let everyone hear. I don't care if they see me, it isn't that I fear. Move to the music and let it flow through my veins, the words soothe me, take away my pain. Can't really understand what goes on when I hear the right song, but God I feel so good. It takes time to make it right but who really cares? 

 

Listen to my voice, hear me sing what words alone can't say

I'll tell you what I feel, what's bothering me today.

This took SO long to write. All the italicized quotations are from songs, I'll list them in order.

I listen to lots of other types of music too, but I didn't want this little poem thing to carry on forever. Let me know what you guys think. ^^ Aside from writing, singing has been a passion of mine since I knew HOW to sing XD Leave a review on your way out!
Oh, and just in case, even though I'm sure you guys are smart enough to know, I'm just going to say that I don't own any of those songs for safety reasons.

The poem itself reads as if it's written as the emotional outlet for this person,
even though music is the emotional attribute here. I would say this clearly
displays a strong passion both for writing and music within moments of sadness, anger,
and so on. I read the pain in it and felt the repose one person finds in music. Well done.

I know exactly how you feel....when that certain song gets imbedded into your head, makes soo much sense, and speaks volumes it is hard to not play off the feelings.....or in this case several songs...(for me it would be too many to name LOL)...
I can see the thought that went into conveying all the right emotions.
feels part rant, part heavy vent...but all powerful!
