Closing your eyes against the light

I see you struggling, I see you hurting

I see the Darkness burning

You trip all the time but I've never seen you fall

Sometimes I wonder if we can really take it all

but then you hold me so tight

and whisper in my ear "Everything's gonna be all right."

It's then that I realize- You make me strong

It doesn't matter if sometimes this feels wrong

When I'm with you, I'm complete

I don't think there's anything we can't defeat.

The depth of words and images are so powerful, so simply put, made me read it again.
Your writing always makes me dig deep into myself for how it applies to me, or my life. And somehow it always does. Throughout time we all find people who can weather all, and who have the strength to help us with what we need....i often wonder how they can do it....or how i can either.

Your poem here, speaks of one who realizes the ups and downs, the pitfalls we encounter giving us doubts within.
