Fingers like claws

you dance forward

I know.

Channel me.

your voice is hypnotic

virulent.

You reach for me but I pull back

your smile fades.

Us?

I own YOU.

I say

Not the other way around.

You laugh.

My darling,

you reach, your fingers seeping into my skin

foul smelling darkness

hatred

You never were strong enough.

You corrode me

You're taking o_ve^r me.

This, in a weird way makes me think of a man who tries to take over a woman. It was a little confusing in the beginning, but that is what I got out of the rest of it. Good job!

If I can be honest I have to say I love it.....but it so real that it strikes a nerve with me for some reason. This is why I love poetry because I get to read work like this. For many years now I've been struggling with bi-polar with psychotic features . It impresses me that you were able to bring to life some of the thoughts that I have in my head day to day.
