Wanna Be My Friend?

Wanna Be My Friend?

A Poem by Marlena
"

"

Go on,

                      say it.

I don't matter to you.

And you're just bothering me because you've got nothing better to do.

I can see it in your eyes.

You say you want to be my friend,

Nothing but lies.

Coward.

You're annoying, and mean, you'll hurt me again.

Inside-

My heart twists and every now and then

I think of you.

And all those things you did to me,

over and over it's all you do

and I was too blind to see.

Oy.....basically, this girl I used to be friends with texted me the other day and now we're sort of friends again and....Whatever, I'm not buying it because she's hurt me like twelve times in the past so there's no point to it now. If anyone else read any of my earlier stuff, its the girl from those really angry "I hate you" poems (as in, You Say I'm Heartless) that kind of stuff. She's annoying.

She's trying to be friends again? This girl doesn't know when to give up.

Anyways, really great poem. The anger surges through it, and I love the defiant tone of it. Good work ^^
