My heart is in your hands, please don't break it.

You lean into me

I say your name

you breathe against my neck

warm air tangles in my hair

your hands travel up my sides

back down

you grin and I throw my head to the side

I look up at you

our eyes meet

"Mine."

It's like my heart is in your hands

and when you whisper in my ear

and move with me

my soul moves too

my heart quivers

and I'm safe

in you.

Please don't break my heart

You're the only one who could ever put it back together again.
