You're too far away....Why do I feel you're too far away?

I can see that look in your eyes

our noses pressed together

I feel like you've been away

it's like you're too far away

I reach down and take your hands

I'm looking up at you

you tower over me

I lean in and rest my head on your chest

and realize suddenly why

why had I felt you were so far away?

Simple.

I couldn't hear your heart beat.
