We'll Be the Darkness

We'll Be the Darkness

A Poem by Marlena
"

This is your power. Use it. Accept it.

"

So,

there's this light

and it's surging with darkness

its as bright as I've ever seen,

warm

and there are these boneless fingers

dark, deep

wrapped around it

the light and the dark

they're intertwined and bright and dull

they are their own opposites and God,

it's beautiful.

Open your eyes.

This is your power.

Use it.

Okay, long story but I was playing Kingdom Hearts 2 and there's this scene where two of the characters do this attack and this stream of Light infused with Darkness shoots out and hits the enemy and I always thought it was an awesome scene so...yeah XD What'cha think??

Your language is light, expressive; the poem itself is dark and possessive. Great write!
Thank you!

I think it is a deep and profound write that has a multitude of wisdom soaked in its' entirety. Excellent write! And yes, it is the power that we all possess, and must be used wisely!

Wow. Very descriptive. =)

I like it. My only issues are that it sounds a bit informal for a poem and the grammar's a little off. But I still love it. :D

I liked this poem, and had you not stated that it was inspired by a game, I would not have known it. You can derive so many meanings from this. Well penned.
