Lithium

Lithium

A Poem by Marlena
"

Let me go and tell me to stay.

"

"Let me go

I want to be free

Let me go

This is how it has to be

I can't keep doing this

I can't go on

Just one last kiss

before the sun breaks the dawn

Tell me to leave

Tell me to stay

Tell me you hate me,

I hate seeing you this way.

I'll miss you forever

Of that, I know,

I'll love you always and-"

"Don't you dare go,"

You grab me and pull me in again,

"Its time to take a stand."

You kiss me like when we first met,

you hold me close and say "Don't you ever forget,

I'm going to stay with you

No matter what you do,

Don't say you're alone,

as long as you're with me,

You're safe and my own."

Aww. So sweet. For something just off the top of your head it is pretty good.
