I am good old spinach

You don’t buy me anymore

Not even to put me in a sandwich

But you know I was famous before

When to good old Popeye

I gave him his strength

 

So don’t forget me just yet

As new research has declared me a superfood

And I’m ever so easy to cook

I’m packed with nitrates

To help power your muscles

So go on a spending spree

And make sure to buy me

OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Spinach...hats off to you. I love it wilted in bacon juice. With a pad of butter melted on top. Yum. Iron defficiancy animea. Aw good ole Popeye! for the record I love spinach, not cooked though, I like to eat it straight from the cane. Cooking it gives it this weird consistency. Anyways this was a cute poem and you totally proved you can write about anything!
