I can be Strong

Inspired by someone I know, shes writing a song about moving on, this is what came from the thoughts the song gave me.

I can be strong through all of this,

It still really hurts,

But in truth the more I dwell,

The more I won't be well,

I really will be ok,

We're still friends and always will be,

And I'm happy about that,

You still make me smile though my heart still hurts,

Please don't be hurt,

Cause' I move on quickly,

You have a part of me no one else will ever have,

I'll love you forever,

Promise me you'll be there always,

 

And you'll always stay in touch,

I love you still so much,

But I can be strong and get through this all.

 

 

Author's Note

This is more my thoughts...My boyfriend broke up with me, and though I hurt now, life still goes on and to get through it I'll have to move on. I will always love him cause' of all we shared, his spot in my heart is perminant and I'm happy that we can still be friends. I love you Dev.
