A poem to someone I once loved with all my heart...

Do you miss me?

I miss you.

I miss your laugh.

I miss your smile.

Why did you leave me?

Were you scared?

I gave you love that no one else is willing to give.

You wanted me out of your life.

And now I am, and it makes me sad.

Do you even care?

Did leaving me make you feel anything at all?

I loved you so much.

I would still return if you would have me.

I feel as if something’s missing in my life.

Do you?

Or is your life everything that you ever wanted?

I hear about you all the time and I see and feel an absence of love.

Do you miss me at all?

Or am I forgotten?

I miss you…

I loved you, and I hope you got the life you wanted.

A life without me.
