FadingA Poem by Sarah Lee JonesIn my creative writing class, we had to pick a random book from the room and pick out words that caught your attention from the book and from the words you chose you had to create a poem. This is what my poem came out to be, though it is rather dark, I hoFading
Shapeless blob filled with sorrow Aging quickly, dying slowly Dark shadow, feeling of gloom Casting low gray colors, tired and lonely
Painfully desperate to be needed, wanted Maddening, crying, want to be free Flailing, failing, feel nothing No knowledge to understand, comprehend
Slowly hear cries outside Fading away into an abyss Panicking, don't know what to do Then silence overcomes the womb
